Our commitment
Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi College of Physiotherapy and HCM is committed to conforming with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Standards we follow
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the target for colour contrast, focus states, and structure
- Semantic HTML headings and landmarks
- Keyboard-operable navigation and controls
- Visible focus outlines and skip-to-content link
- Form labels and clear error / pending states
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion - ARIA where needed for menus, accordions, and interactive patterns
Known limitations
Some content is still scaffolding (maps, documents, images). When media and PDFs are added, we will require alt text, captions where applicable, and accessible document formats. Third-party embeds (e.g. future map widgets) may have their own limitations.
