BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On the occasion of National Youth Day [ Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand i.e on 12th January],GES’s Sir. Dr. M.S.Gosavi, College of Physiotherapy and health care management, Nashik had oraganised voluntary blood donation camp. The said activity was organized under guidance of Principal of GES,SDMSG COPT Dr.Basavraj Chandu and in collaboration with Arpan Blood bank,Nashik on Saturday 18th January 2020 from 9.30am to 2.30pm in Physiotherapy College Gymnasium Hall.Total 140 members participated for the blood donation including Physiotherapy,Nursing and Commerce Staff and Students. As per the eligibility criteria i.e Age,Hb count,Blood pressure, Previous Medical history etc,the blood units were collected.Total 33 units were collected as per the eligibility.The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr.Vaishali kale[M.D Path]and blood transfusion consultant Mrs.Kiran Jadhav.

Kite Festival 2020

College students and staff represented our college in kite festival which was held in GES’s H.A.L College of commerce, Ozar, on 13th January 2020. Total 11 teams were participated from 11 colleges of Gokhale Education Society, Nashik. All the teams were given a name and all the materials which are needed to fly a kite. Inauguration of the festival was done by Dr. Shailesh Kulkarni sir who was Guest of Honour of function.

Our college team got consolation prize (4th) in the kite festival 2020. The winner was decided according to the dressing of team members, kite flying technique, saving team’s kites and chasing another team’s kites etc. Prize distribution was done by Dr. Ram Kulkarni sir, Principal of BYK college of Commerce and Zonal secretary of GES.
